Over 30 Years Of B&D Automotive
In 1988 I graduated college with a degree in Automotive Technology. After working at a local auto repair shop for five years as a full-time technician, I decided it was time to start working for myself. Soon after, I gave my notice and teamed up with a childhood friend who was also in the automotive industry. Together, we started B&D Automotive on July 5th 1993.
Our first location was in the back of an auto body shop on Rt.138. We had room for two cars inside with one lift, which could not "lift" all the way due to the building's low roof-line.
We made the most of this location for three years and in 1996 we moved to a brand new building on Canton St. in Stoughton.
We stayed at this location until 1999, then moved once again to an industrial park on Tosca Dr. that was less than one mile from our previous shop.

Now we had two large overhead garage doors and 3,300 square feet of space! We employed three mechanics and a salesperson then added our Motorsports division to our website so customers could purchase performance parts for their vehicles on-line.

The business was growing.
​
At this location, we had enough space to purchase a second lift and service four cars inside comfortably. We hired a mechanic and a receptionist to help with the additional workload.
​
In 1998, we doubled our space in this same building, added a third drive-on lift with an alignment machine and started our Performance Parts and Accessories division - B&D Motorsports.
In 2005 we moved to our present location at 200 Cushing St. in Stoughton.

As we enter our 31st year in business, we have realized that the key to our success has been the ability to create relationships with our customers.

We have earned your trust by providing an honest service at a fair price. Now, we have 3rd generation drivers bringing us their vehicles for service, just as their parents did and their parents before them!

The automobile has changed over the last 31 years, but our philosophy has not; be honest with people and they will continue to come back.
